UNION CITY, Ind. - Pearl ALEXANDER, 92, R.R. 4, died Tuesday in Union City Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
A native and lifelong resident of Randolph County, she was a retired teacher. She taught Latin, English and history in Jackson, Huntsville, Union City, Saratoga and Ridgeville schools. She also taught at Taylor University in Upland.
She was a member of the Union City Senior Citizens organization.
Her only survivors are nephews and nieces.
Private graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. (EST) Friday in New Lisbon Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
Thomas Funeral Home in Lynn is in charge of arrangements.
