      A. Glen Nixon, 80

      Portland, Ind. -- A. Glen Nixon, 80, R.R. 1, died Wednesday in Jay County Hospital after a brief illness.
      He was a Jay County native and was a retired farmer. He also was a former employee of the Jay County Highway Department
      He was a member of Portland Moose Lodge for 45 years.
      Surviving are his wife, Marceil McKinley Nixon; two sons, Dick and Tom E., both of rural Portland; a daughter, Wanda (Mrs. Alva) Eley, rural Portland; a brother, Cleatus Nixon, rural Portland, and a sister, Mary (Mrs. Dale) Pensinger, Albion.
      Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Williamson & Spencer Funeral Home with Rev. Lee Ross officiating. Burial will be in Green Park Cemetery.
      Calling hours at the funeral home are after 2 p.m. today and before services on Saturday.
      Memorials may be sent to New Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church.
