Well I went to California to work during the war. I was working on an air base. John was in service, of course. He went overseas for 2 1/2 years after we met. When the ware was over and he came home I met him in Salt Lake City, Utah. We married there and since Idaho was his home - here I am. We've had a good life together and four children. Our first boy and girl were twins. They live in Ohio. Brenda, my daughter (she married a guy back there--no children) lives in the same town as Pauline. By the time you get this, Bill, my son, has been living at Port Clinton, Ohio for about 5 years but he is moving to Dallas. He & Sidney (his wife) have two beautiful children, a girl age 12, a boy age 10. David is my middle son. He lives here in town with his lovely wife and two children - a boy age 9 and a girl age 4. Our youngest boy chooses to be a bachelor I guess. He also lives here in town. Jim works at the little sawmill also in this town. His interests lie in music instead of girls. He has a little band and does quite a bit of entertaining for dances, etc. Especially he loves to play for weddings--he plays the guitar as his first love, but also is trying to master the banjo, violin and several others. John retired from Potlatch Corporation June 23rd of this year. I was a cook in restaurants for many years--but quit about two years ago--my legs were causing me to much pain to continue any longer. . . Pauline and my brother Bill both own their home sin Napoleon. Mildred & her husband live in Utica, Michigan. Cecil lives in California. Pauline & Lester are flying out here the 4th of Oct and we are going down to visit Cecil. His address is 853 N. Main St. - Trailer 42, Corova, California (91720). . . . Aunt Mary's family all live around Bloomington, Illinois I guess but never hear from any of them since she passed away. . .P.S.
