Claiborne Wilkerson died in the Civil War in 1862. In 1850 he was living with his wife Lucy, and children, John age 15, George W. age 13, Eliza J. age 11, Matilda C., age 9, Paul J. age 8, Henry C. age 6, and Major L. age 4, in Knox County Tennessee. He enlisted in the Confederate Army in Knoxville so that is where one would expect him to be in 1860 but no luck so far. Some of the surrounding counties have also been searched but Claiborne seems to have vanished or was hidden in 1860.

There was a George Richardson/Richeson in Pike Twp., Clark County, Ohio in the early 1800s and a George Richardson/Richison in Pike & then Bethel Twp., also Clark County and also in the early 1800s. No connection has been found but the Richison line has begun doing a couple of DNA tests. If a living male of the Richeson line can be found, a DNA would prove or disprove if the two lines are connected. The Richeson line of Pike Township begins with George who married Prudence Prillaman and includes their children and other descendants. Isabella Richison/Richeson married Francis Kelley in Champaign County, Ohio on 13 November 1807. The first census for Ohio was in 1820 and in that census there is a Francis Kelley family in Champaign County that may be Isabella and Francis' family. If so, they had seven children between 1807 and 1820 -- 2 males and 5 females. By 1830, they are no longer listed as living in Champaign County but a similar family can be found in Cass County, Indiana. Is Isabella the missing female, age 16-25, from the 1800 census for George Richardson in Cross Creek Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania?

This appears to be the living descendants of John Webster & Sarah Jane (Ayars) Richison in the spring of 1921. John and Sarah's living children would have been George Andrew, Frank Albert, William Allen, Charles Anthony Sr., Carrie Alice Beard and Margaret Ann. Margaret married in April of 1921 so this could have been taken about the time she got married. Look at Elusive People for the identity of many of the people in this photo and then help with the identification of those as yet unidentified.
