Know all men by these presents that we Peter Pavey & James Adams are held and firmly bound, unto the Commonwealth of Kentucky, in the sum of fifty pounds, current money, and for payment, well and truly to be made and done unto the Commonwealth, we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators, jointly, severally and firmly, by these presents, sealed with our seals this 16th day of January 1815.
The condition of the above obligation is such, that whereas, a marriage is shortly intended to be solemnized between the above bound Peter Pavey & Margarett Crook Now should there be no lawful cause to obstruct said marriage, then the above obligation to be void, else to remain in full force.
