A carbon copy of this record was supplied to Fields in 1970 by Charles Anthony Richison, Jr. The record creator is said to have been Margaret Ann (Richison) Secrest, born 1878 in Jay County, Indiana, daughter of John Webster and Elizabeth (Cory) Richison.

"Alexander Rites Largely Attended," undated obituary clipping from unidentified newspaper for Carmen Alexander in Olive (Alexander) Richison scrapbook, ca.1906-1970; privately held by Shirley Richison Fields, Avon, Indiana, 2003. The scrapbook was in a box of Olive's belongings given to Marceil (McKinley) Nixon by Olive's daughter Pauline when Olive was moved to California ca.1966. Marceil turned them over to Shirley Richison Fields, Olive's granddaughter, in 1970. It is believed that any handwritten notations were written by Olive.
